Adelaide University - Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS Joint Research Roundtable

Adelaide University and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) share a strong vision to nurture future leaders and drive impactful education and research in areas such as engineering, sustainability, renewable energy technologies, carbon capture and storage, and sustainable development.

The Adelaide University-UTP Joint Research Roundtable will bring together leading researchers from both institutions to identify key research synergies and explore collaborative opportunities. By fostering dialogue and partnership, this initiative aims to lay the foundation for future joint research projects.

This roundtable will focus on key themes in sustainable green transition, hydrogen, and artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing.

Following the roundtable, it is anticipated that Adelaide University and UTP research groups will identify and define several potential collaborative project proposals for development in 2026. These proposals will contribute to future strategic engagement and partnership plans between the two universities.
