Standards Development

Standards affect almost every aspect of your life, enabling nearly everything around you to function correctly and safely.

In Australia, most standards are published by , who are also the national member body of the and the . These bodies do not write the standards themselves, instead that is done by technical experts from nominating organisations such as 91×ÔĹÄ.

Staff of the University have the opportunity to contribute to the development of standards by becoming a representative on a committee.
