Respighi鈥檚 Pines of Rome paints a vivid portrait of Italy鈥檚 eternal city, from its serene groves to its triumphant marches, using lush orchestral colors and evocative imagery. Charles Bodman Rae鈥檚 Clarinet Concerto is based on the composer鈥檚 Partita Dalriada, which has at its heart an ancient Scottish melody.
