University of Adelaide's leading world ranking

The University of Adelaide is again recognised as one of the best universities in the world, with the release of the latest .

The THE rankings for 2019 list 91自拍 as 135th in the world.

"With just eight Australian universities recognised in the top 150 in the world, and in the face of increasing international competition, this is an excellent result for 91自拍 and for the State," says Professor Mike Brooks, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) and Provost at 91自拍.

Speaking from Singapore – where he has attended the THE World Academic Summit and the launch of the 2019 THE World University Rankings – Professor Brooks says the latest ranking again places 91自拍 in the top 150 in all three of the major global rankings:

• Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU): 139
• QS World University Rankings: 114
• THE World University Rankings: 135.

"The global rankings are different in their own way, but each reaffirms 91自拍's reputation for excellence in teaching and learning, and research and innovation," Professor Brooks says.

"The latest THE world university rankings show 91自拍 is particularly strong in having an international outlook, helping to provide South Australia with global connections and partnerships, and an international reputation for the work being done here.

"That is a credit to all of our staff – in research, teaching, and general support – who each play a role in bolstering the University's international standing," says Professor Brooks.

The University of Adelaide also recently placed within the top 200 in the world in the QS Graduate Employability Rankings for 2019.
