This webinar will detail significant improvement in student engagement and retention between users and non-users of a gamified mobile application (GMA) for first year accounting students in line with the recently published paper - Improving Retention While Enhancing Student Engagement and Learning Outcomes Using Gamified Mobile Technology.Β Β The research detailed in this webinar found that users of GMA were more engaged with the learning material, their teachers, and their peers, with improved learning outcomes which motivated a significant number of students to persist with their studies.
