Theia Medical Wins Heart Foundation Catalyst Grant to Advance Cardiovascular Innovation
Congratulations to the innovative Theia Medical Pty Ltd, founded by Associate Professor Jiawen Li, and her exceptional team on being awarded one of the inaugural Heart Foundation Catalyst Partnership Grants. This program is designed to fast-track groundbreaking solutions that will help achieve heart health for all Australians by 2050.
With the backing of Catalyst Advisors, 10 outstanding projects have been selected, each receiving $100,000 in funding and strategic support to help turn their ideas into real-world impact.
Catalyst Partnership Grants are a novel, collaborative way of funding innovative ideas and solutions to improve heart health in Australia. They provide the opportunity to connect innovators with investors and donors to help improve the heart health of all people in Australia.
Congratulations to Assoc Prof Jiawen Li, Prof Peter Psaltis, Prof Robert McLaughlin and Aisha Sirop on being selected as one of 10 inaugural Heart Foundation Catalyst Partners.
Their project combines 3D printing, multimodal imaging, and AI to enable earlier diagnosis of dangerous plaque and more personalised treatment. An exciting step forward in cardiovascular health. .
