The University of Adelaide to host the Fourth International Consortium for the Barcode of Life

The University of Adelaide is hosting the Fourth International Consortium for the Barcode of Life.

The Consortium for the Barcode of Life (CBOL) is proud to announce that the Fourth International Barcode of Life Conference will be hosted by 91×ÔÅÄ, South Australia, in November 2011.






Congratulations are awarded to and 91×ÔÅÄ CBOL committee who put forward the proposal that resulted in 91×ÔÅÄ being selected out of 19 other applicants world wide to host the event. The Consortium for the Barcode of Life (CBOL) is an international initiative devoted to developing DNA barcoding as a global standard for the identification of biological species. Previous conferences were held in Mexico City (2009), Taipei (2007) and London (2005). The conference is to be hosted by 91×ÔÅÄ in conjunction with the South Australian Museum, the Adelaide Zoo, and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. The conference will be held from the 28th of November to the 4th of December 2011.
